The company has been founded by Mr. Ernani Zambetti in 1977 when he decided to move from his native city of Milan to Seriana Valley in Bergamo; historically known area for Italian textile industry. His professional background was initially in electrical technology and his decision for completely devotion into textile manufacturing was as getting back to his creative roots – originally, his family has been running the business of textile furnishing handicrafts.

Thanks to his strong entrepreneurial capacity and to the large traditional territorial influence, he started to weave the fabrics by his own looms and implants, encompassing everything in the production process beginning right from the spinning process, weaving, textile finishing right to the sewing up the finished textile products for interior decoration.

Jein began its journey thanks to the constant drive for creative innovation, while staying true to its founding principles of deep-rooted passion for textile and strong determination of family run business. His passion and love for his work and shared ethical commitment, has now been successfully handed down to his son Matteo who was working alongside his father before taking over as a CEO in 2002 and carrying the business in the next generation.

Today the company Zambetti Srl is moving forward with solid roots, led by a dynamic, flexible and creative team, capable of refining and renewing itself in a continuous process of progress and innovation that enables it to take on more and more ambitious projects. The great dedication to our work allows us to offer to our customers a well-planned and personalized service. The client is followed by our team right from the conception through the process, up to the actual weaving and the realization of the final products with utmost care for details.

Table linens and accessories for banqueting.
Interiors textiles for luxury villas, mountain chalets, castles and private boats.
Textile furnishings for cruise ships and airlines: we apply detailed research and accuracy to design and manufacture furnishing for cruise cabins, halls, restaurants, outdoor spaces using detailed research.
Retirement homes – we design and manufacture textile products textile for special needs, such as fire retardant and waterproof textiles with required certifications as requested by each specific client.
Bespoke Project: we manufacture custom made to measure products designed with accurate personalization and attention to details
